Student Life is in charge of the Christmas program at LCC. It is a BIG DEAL on campus and is a ton of fun! We were searching for a script or idea for the program for much of the fall. One of my Community Lifers told me during our one on one at the end of October that God had woken her up during the night and given her an idea for the program. She said she got out of bed and wrote it out. She shared it the concept with me and I loved it! I took it to the Student Life Management Team for approval. ThHey loved it as well and we decided it would be our program for this year. It turned out to be a wonderful program - full of meaning, LCC talent, and the true focus of the Christmas season.
The general concept was a little girl and her mother on one side of the stage reading and disucssing the Christmas story from the Bible, while the other side of the stage was acting it out. It was beautiful!
Some students setting up for the cookie reception that occured after the program out in the lobby.
Becky -playing the mom- and Hevenly - playing the little girl.
Some angels dance around Mary.
Mary & Joseph w/baby Jesus. (Baby Jesus was played by the Stave's new baby - Greta)

Me with Santa (Becky's husband - Erik) at the reception afterwards.
