We celebrated our first December graduation this year. We've often had students graduate at the end of the fall semester, but didn't do anything to recognize it at that time - instead opting to include them in the graduation ceremony at the end of the year. Given that our students come from all over the world and that they often cannot afford to return to Lithuania at the end of may/can't get the proper visas to return, we decided to have a graduation ceremony for them in Neufeld Auditorium at the end of the term. We did all of our usual traditions...class photo on the front steps, sashes, roses, etc... It was a wonderful celebration of what these students have accomplished!
