Enns Hall dedication

After so much hard work over the past year, Enns Hall is open.  We've been using it for about a month already, but took time during our 20th Anniversary celebrations to dedicate the building.  It was a windy day, but the people who spoke handled it well.  This is what the event looked like...

Roma and Ira - our emcees.  They have both been RAs for multiple years, so we were excited to have them be part of our celebration.

Kim sharing what this building means to our campus.

Vasile, the Student Council president, giving his remarks.

Vasile and Vaiva unveiling the art that was done for Enns to commerate the dedication and our 20th Anniversary.  It is a collage made up of faces of people at LCC.

Dennis (on the right) chairs the building committee and Ed (on the left) is who the building is named after.  Both gave very meaningful speeches highlighting the involvemnt of the Enns family on our campus and the recent passing of Ed's wife, Laura.

The mayor of Klaipeda is a good friend of LCC and spoke at the dedication ceremony.  I think he received the most applause when he shared that one of his dreams is for his children to attend LCC!

Romas, our chapel coordiantor, offered a prayer of blessing on the dorm.

The cutting of the ribbon - Kim, Marlene, Ed, the Mayor, and Dennis

Afterwards the RAs gave tours of the building!

Kiam and I spent many hours working on the details of Enns, so we were all smiles as celebrated the completion of Enns and a job well done!  :)
