The All Campus Celebration of Marlene's inauguration took place on Friday evening. Student Life was in charge of the party and it was a wonderful event! We spent the afternoon decorating the campus with maroon balloons and flags made from Karklu curtain material. We began the event with our inaugural 5K Fun Run/Walk followed by traditional Community Day games, a meal catered by a local restaurant and we lit /sent off Chinese lanterns into the night sky. Most faculty/staff left after that. Student Lifers stayed to clean up and danced a while with the students during the line dancing time that has become a bit of an LCC tradition as well!
